What is the PGDM fee?
₹8,90,000 for two years, including the Global Immersion trip, certifications, book bank and LMS. Hostel is separate.
Which exams are accepted?
CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT and GMAT, with a minimum of the 60th percentile, followed by WAT, GD and PI.
Is MABS the same as MAIT?
No. MABS is a separate business school, founded in 2023 by MATES, which also runs MAIT and MAIMS.
Are scholarships available?
Yes. Entrance-exam scholarships range from ₹60,000 to ₹1,00,000, and the top 5% earn ₹36,000 every trimester.
What is the application fee?
Apply online at apply.mabs.ac.in. The application fee is ₹1,200 and is non-refundable.
What are the entrance exam cut-offs?
CAT, XAT, MAT and CMAT: 60 percentile. GMAT: 50 percentile. Scores are valid for one year. A score above the cut-off does not by itself guarantee a shortlist.
Can final-year students apply?
Yes. Final-year students get provisional admission, confirmed once they pass their bachelor's degree and submit the documents.
How are candidates selected?
Shortlisted candidates take a Written Aptitude Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Final selection weighs the entrance score, WAT-GD-PI performance, academic record and work experience.
Which documents do I need?
Entrance score card, graduation mark sheets and degree, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates, Aadhaar card, migration or transfer certificate, and a work experience certificate if any.
Is the MABS PGDM approved by AICTE?
Yes. The two-year, full-time PGDM is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Education, Government of India. It has been approved every year since MABS opened in 2023, with an intake of 180.
What is the difference between a PGDM and an MBA?
An MBA is a degree awarded by a university. A PGDM is a diploma awarded by an AICTE-approved institute such as MABS, which can update its curriculum with industry partners more often. Read the faculty blog "MBA vs PGDM" for a full comparison.
Which specialisations does MABS offer?
Five: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Operations & SCM, and Business Analytics. Electives start in Trimester 3, and every specialisation includes AI modules.
How are the placements at MABS?
For the PGDM 2024–26 batch, 90.4% of students seeking placement were placed, with a highest CTC of ₹13.96 LPA and an average of ₹8.05 LPA. MABS works with 200+ recruitment partners, and 100% of the PGDM 2025–27 batch was placed for the summer internship.
Is the Global Immersion trip included in the fee?
Yes. The one-week Global Immersion Programme is part of the ₹8,90,000 fee: travel, visa, stay, workshops, industrial visits and meals are covered. Past batches have visited Singapore, Malaysia and Dubai.
Is there a hostel on campus?
Yes. The on-campus hostel has room for 200 residents, in AC and non-AC, single and double rooms. Yearly charges, including ₹95,000 for the mess, range from ₹1,81,000 to ₹2,70,000, with a refundable security deposit of ₹20,000 for new residents.
Can I get an education loan?
Yes. MABS has tie-ups with Union Bank of India and SBI for loans of up to ₹7.5 lakh without security, and the PM Vidyalaxmi scheme also applies. Collect your offer letter from the admissions office and submit it with your documents at the bank.
Do I need work experience to apply?
No. Graduates with 50% (45% for reserved categories) and a valid entrance score can apply, including final-year students. Work experience, if you have it, is considered in the final selection.
